class notes 9/20

mercator map--> general map, used often

this is the map that everybody knows and learns from, but it is incorrect. this map makes certain countries look a lot bigger than they are and it makes you wonder where places really actually are.

--> what if the northern hemisphere was on the southern hemisphere?
